@Betxie1221 I see. What is your tourist spot in your Butuan? Is that very far from CDO?

Definitely Boracay is out of the question. I believe siquijor have some pristine beaches to offer.

Try Anda, Bohol. It's a white sand beach, most tourist will stop at Panglao Island, Bohol. And Anda is like 3-4 hrs drive away from the city so most of the people opt Panglao which can only be reached within 30 minutes of travel.

That beach is paradisiac. ONe I would like to be at. I would like to know how much money is needed to go the philipines from Mexico. I would also like to know what the parity between the Mexican peso and the Philippine peso

Currently, 1 Mexican peso is equivalent to 2.80 Philippine Peso. Excluding plane fare, you'll get a wonderful escape just by preparing at least 15,000 Philippine Peso.

@floramieegos That sounds appealing. That means that 5000 Mexican pesos would be sufficient to go to the Philippines. I would be thinking about it. It would be wonderful to visit the Philippines

Hi! I agree with you. You are from Cebu and I love the beaches there. Nothing beats Bantayan with its beautiful white sand. Besides that, I love Palawan and trying Siargao soon.

I soooo love Bantayan Island as well . I've visited the place twice and still planning to go back there. I can't get over with the beauty of the place. Palawan is superb as well. Try also visiting Panglao Island in Bohol. We have Balicasag and Virgin Island that you will surely love.

@mlgen1037 I totally agree! I'd love to visit Sagada and Baguio as well but I heard the trip from Manila is very long.

They're lovely! You won't regret visiting some of them. Most of them are white sand beaches, some have an island that you can go island hopping, some can cater dolphin and whale watching.

@Starmaiden can't wait to hear your news "I'm visiting the Philippines" . I recommend visiting around March to May to avoid rains that usually happens around September to February.

That I hope will be protected up to the last generation. Money is good but not enough to preserve our natural resources. I agree that Boracay needs to be saved, that Batanes should be protected as well from greedy politician and businessmen.

I love to visit different countries. From the pic, it's clear that Phillippines has some beautiful beaches. Tell me apart from beaches, what other sightseeing options are there?
