In all honesty, this should be a lot higher on my list than number ten but I needed to make room for Type O Negative, Pantera and a few others. Better to make the list in the last spot than to get overlooked.
The beat on this is amazing but the video draws on a lot of old school black and white films where everyone immediately goes to the torches and pitchforks instead of using common sense. Even though there are extended remixes, the original version off of Hellbilly Deluxe [1998] is the one that I fell in love with and still listen to almost everyday. The lyrics are 'explicit' but that's part of the charm of it.
A lot of people compared the Living Dead Girl in the original video as a cross between Morticia Addams, Frankenstein's bride and Lilly Munster. In reality, it's Rob Zombie's daughter Sheri Moon. Twenty years ago songs were judged on the music as well as the video – that type of rationale is finally resurfacing.
Sadly people saw this and other songs from Hellbilly Deluxe as 'sell out' material because it didn't have the same exact sound as White Zombie. It isn't the same but it is interesting. Fans of Rob Zombie or the group won't care if it's a solo project or after he gave up the needle – it's all zombie.

I like both White Zombie and Rob Zombie, and I don't think the music sounds that different. Hellbilly Deluxe is a fantastic album!
