Once again for a good many states still the state governments have not done anything to stop the flip flop of the clock. Florida however did this year by voting in legislature to leave it at Day Light Savings time. Smart move on Florida's part. Arizona has never flip flopped their clocks keeping it at Standard time. You hear all sorts of reasons why we even ever got into this stupid flip flop of the clock. From it saves energy to it was created for farmers. That later part is a lie about the farmers. First farmers get up early anyway to care for livestock and crops etc. Cows and livestock do not like the flopping of the clock. Especially dairy cows or goats. Some said it was for business men or women wanting time off earlier to go play a round of golf or time in the evening to relax with family etc. Whatever the reason it has been studied and proven the transition to and from daylight saving time has been linked to higher heart attack risk, higher car accident fatalities, and other bad outcomes. Thought to be due to sleep deprivation and circadian rhythm change and are just temporary. Temporary or not it still is not a good thing for many people. If you die you sure won't enjoy the "alleged" benefit of longer hours of daylight. I personally hate it and it has also been proven we no longer need it and it is up to the states to either keep things at standard time or daylight time or flip and flop it forward in spring and back in fall. Washington state admitted we don't need it, admitted it causes health issues, more accidents three years ago but they have yet to change the spring forward, fall back because they vote for a pay raise, if they need a rainy day fund, and to eliminate the death penalty on prisoners who are serial killers and murders and repeat rapists. So we the tax payer can house and feed them for the rest of their lives. Many of us do not agree with that. Anyway they tabled the Day light savings time bill once again. Ironic they want to save lives for murders but won't pass a bill to eliminate flip flop of the clock they admitted has consequences that can lead to the death of many. That along with once again saying "Common Core" education can wait for another year for the 3rd year knowing statistics have shown since "Common Core" education has been introduced there has been an increase of even more school drop outs especially with the learning challenged. Personally I do not care which we have Standard time or Day light Saving time just leave it one way or another and stop flip flopping the clock every few months. What do you feel about the flip flop clock and time changes? Does it affect you at all?

I wish they would leave it alone. I don't like what it does to me. Springing forward makes me want to scream. It takes quite awhile to adjust to it. I liked it when I lived in Arizona. Unfortunately, I worked in Nevada so I always had 2 clocks sitting in front of me. That was a drag.

@Liberti Let's keep our fingers crossed that the states choose to do away with it.

sure hate it too, it takes me about 4 weeks to adjust each time. I know they said they no longer have a need to even do it and it is now up to the states to take it off.
