It is always a good thing to reflected as to what choices and circumstances have led you to what you are today. What paths taken and which avoided have culminated in to whom you are as a person and how others perceive you. We usually tend to blame our roots as the thing that hold as back from success and assume that if our circumstances were different success would be come automatically. While some are born into with clear advantages including wealth and position in society, does that guarantee their success? So, what do you see when you look back at your roots? I would like to think you have at least reflected on what in your past is bringing you down or what should inspired you to rise above those short comings. I would be happy to read your comments.

There is saying that we should always remember our roots or from where you came, but that doesnt necessarily mean you stop growing or achieving your dreams and goals in life. Every person has their different paths and it is up to us how we will be able to get the success we all dream of. Some use their roots as inspirations to succeed, while some use their roots to blame others of their sad lives. The choice is ours to make. So choose wisely.

The only good thing I can look back on is my grandfather. Aside from that I do not want to remember anything else.

I don't feel regretted to look back in my roots. I loved them and followed them sincerely. But one thing i Hate most about them is that it has restricted my movements and my outfits. I am a free spirit. I love to travel alone, but my parents don't allow me. Same for my clothes. My roots have made me a little bit conservative too.

"We usually tend to blame our roots..." --- We? For whom are you speaking? Certainly not for me. I don't look into my family's history to find out why I'm successful or not.
