How do you get Freebies?

I have received coupons for free merchandise by emailing companies. I got 2 coupons for free Aqua Velva, (for my dad), 2 coupons for free Poppycock, (a snack my dad likes) and also a free sample of flower seeds from www.cheapseeds! I usually address the email, Attn: Marketing Dept. and tell them how much my friend loves their product and that I would like to try it. I go on to ask if there is any way they can help me out and thank them in advance for anything they can do. Of course some companies will deny your requests or they will send $1.00 off coupons. But what do have to lose except a little bit of your time. Another way I get freebies is through a website called Twisted Branches, they have all different categories of freebies from shampoo to cat food to baby stuff.

I pick up a few free samples here and there at www.startsampling.com. I have them sent to the house in my dog's name (it's a girl's name) so I can track junk mail, and so far all I have received are the samples - no junk mail. I am impressed!

Oh this is so cool!! Especially at this time of year, you can use these samples as stocking stuffers. I will try that site you named and see what I can do with that. Thanks for sharing this.:)

Yeah, and it feels good when you're on a tight budget and you can give a loved one some really great gifts that cost you nothing, but a little time.

Love freebies. Very good idea you have to get the companies to give you free product. I never thought of doing it. Thanks a bunch for the idea.

I got the idea from hearing about a guy on the news who wrote letters to lots of different companies and got all kinds of freebies. I decided to try emailing them, (no paying for stamps or envelopes), just a little bit of my time.

Oh I so love the freebies too!! And I too have emailed companies or even called them - and it seems like as long as you are cordial and explain what you do or don't like about the product then they will usually send you something!! You should also give this site a try - it's totally cool - you get to try out products and then give them your opinions on the products and the stuff they send it awesome - not cheap stuff either!!! http://www.bzzagent.com

You can go to currentcodes.com for coupons and such. I don't know if much of it is free, but it points you to some good deals and discounts. You can search by category of product, by merchant, etc. A good way to find out about specials you otherwise wouldn't know about unless you were on a merchant's email list or visited its Web site often.

I am addicted to freebies and sharing. I own a yahoo group and post daily/weekly. I hate finding freebies that aren't free. SO I only post 100% freebies. This week I have gotten 2 men's razors, sunsilk samples, and Greenies biscuits with coupon.
