IS LOVE ENOUGH TO CONTINUE THE RELATIONSHIP?

I have a friend and she's currently in a relationship with this guy for almost 3 years now. She was being battered but she said that she doesn't want to leave him. What are your opinions?

@silvara if he is hurting her she should get out of there - sadly it is her choice to stay but he clearly has no love for her - hope she breaks free soon

Terrible situation!? Some people are desperate no matter what the situation is. Hope she doesn't have to hit rock bottom before she gets out of this relationship!

I think she needs to end the relationship.It is not a healthy relationship. Love is not enough in this kind of situation.

I think you guys are all correct. I am feeling that she is just wanting to get an acceptance from someone or maybe she's afraid of being alone. It could be the two.

@silvara she must know her value even she has self respect too.. So why she is just with him.. And the person who loves you doesn't beat you... He cares for you nor just leave or give you pain

Love would be enough if both parties are completely committed in the relationship. But if only one is committed, that is a disaster. Remember, love is a two way street, it will never work out if only one is fixing the relationship. You also need your brain if one is into that relationship.
