I thought it a good idea to tell a story, using YouTube as an alternative to writing a book.

I bet it would be cool to just sit and tell stories and upload the videos to YouTube.
I have never done this. I wonder if it is a good idea.
I didn't realize that so many people had a YouTube channel, much less several of their own personal tutorials or inspirational or educational videos but it is a good thing.
YouTube has some good ones about how to Tell A Good Story to engage the viewers.

you are right,for adult yeah it is nice. but i don't think it is practical for kids. I learn a lot from youtube.

learning is fun and practical. You can't put a price tag on knowledge but it has intrinsic value.

For some it can be financially rewarding but that depends on one main factor, the number of views it gets and when a video gets to be viral, on YouTube, it might just get you some coins, but I do not earn on YouTube and if that is your interest below is a link to that subject about earning money from your videos on YouTube.
