It's a long weekend. Most people would spend going to church and pray but some will also prefer going to vacation. What's your plans? I plan to go home in my province and spend the holiday there. It's been 11 years already that I've not spend my holy week there . So I'm a little excited.

You're welcome. I guess you're too busy at work or at anything that makes you forget .

"Most people would spend going to church..." Most people of your country? Most people of the world?

Most people who are practicing Roman Catholics or living in countries that is predominantly Roman Catholic. Holy week is a Roman Catholic holiday or tradition although some Christian denominations and even non-Christians partake in it partly or in whole such as Good Friday & Easter celebrations

@MALUSE one of the earliest mention of such a thing as a Holy week or something like it is in the Apostolic Constitution or the Latin " constitutiones apostolorum somewhere between the 3rd or 4th A.D. So obviously its Roman Seems like you did not understand my second line, Protestants are Christian denominations after they broke away from the Catholic church and the papal hierarchy in the 16th century schism led by Martin Luther, John Calvin etc..( not to be mistaken with the great schism of the 11th century which was a break up between the Roman Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox which btw are also Christians. Even non-believers or pseudo Christians such as religions found in Africa like vodoo practice it and like I said" people practice it wholly or in part" and safe to assume it would be knowingly or unknowingly.

@louievill The writer of this post should have mentioned this. Why do you say that the holy week is a Roman Catholic tradition? Don't the Protestants celebrate Easter as well? It's a Christian tradition, of course.

I didn't didn't do anything special that week. That weekend though I had to take my cat to the vet and I went Easter shopping with my mother. We also went to church on Easter and went to my great-aunt's house.
