with my hot dog cart business I do have a loss on paper which is good this will help me get my tax refund this year. this summer when I reopen the hot dog stand I am going to be more stick with my self inventory every day in am before I open then at the end of the day inventory this will tell me what I sold, for example if I make $500 after expense what I am going to do 35% of that 500 will be in a saving account so it I have to pay taxes for 2018 I have the money. to pay it..all so I going to take 10% out and put in like a repair saving for future repair of the hot dog cart if needed . it like medical insurance for a hot dog cart then after that I take money out for me to pay bill etc.

I do our taxes every year but this year I gave in and went to a specialist, after what they charge, I will do them myself again starting next year. Good luck with your business, I hope it is a great success.

@eagletrek2 Wow, I have always used Turbo Tax and it usually costs me about $80 but I don't pay for all that extra stuff they want to charge for. Nice that you have a CPA that will help you with your business.

Doing tax returns totally freaks me out. I very happily shell out for an accountant to do it for me. It's worth the money just to save the stress.
