I have been worried of my dog because of too much itchiness. I am checking on his body and no signs of flea and ticks. I guess it's something like an allergy. Can a dog food cause allergy too? I have surf the net for possible causes and treatments. Seems not really working on him. My dog is 8 years old. My only companion in the house and i'm so affected whenever he is not feeling well.

In that 8 years, is that the first time your dog has an allergy ?

I believe they can, it could also be normal allergies if there is redness and rashes going on. If you get the chance, take him to the vet, they might have an idea.

Commercial low quality dog food can cause all kinds of diseases to your dogs. Check the ingredients of your dog food, if it contains corn or wheat, those are very poor quality dog food. Corn and wheat are just buffer food for them, they don't get the nutrition they need.
