A story about a German Shepherd who reunited with his owner after being stolen from his backyard three years ago by some thieves. Howard County Police Officer Sarah Miller found a lost dog during a traffic stop in Baltimore Maryland on Sunday. When the animal control officers were able to find the dog, they found a microchip on his coat and identified him as Harvey. Harvey was being trained as a K9 officer in Carroll County before his first handler suffered an injury. Harvey's handler adopted Harvey when he was six months of age. Harvey was stolen when he was two years old in July 2015. The handler whose name was not reported used social media to locate Harvey. She did not give up that Harvey would be found alive. Despite the fact that Harvey did not complete his K9 training in Carroll County, Harvey will be an honorary K9 officer with his original handler.

That is great the owner got his dog back. I hear it on the news how dogs get stolen. That is just wrong.

I'm glad Harvey was reunited with his owner. It's sad when people steal pets.
