Bad infrastructure and agglomeration

I don't know what it is like where you live and in your country generally but here in Bucharest Romania the city is very crowded and has a really bad infrastructure overall. The streets are full of defects and when travelling by the tram for example it sometimes feel as if your in a boat due to its balancing. When travelling by car you must be really careful because of some unexpected hollows in the road structure can cause you a powerful shock when the wheel gets in it. The best thing is the subway train which does not encounter problems such as traffic jams or hollows in its path that could shock the travelers. It is sometimes faster to get with the subway train to certain points in the city than going by your personal car which can easily run into traffic jams. But of course the subway train has its limits and cannot get you anywhere you want in the city or to certain places outside Bucharest which you might need to get to. How is traffic in the area where you live? What about the infrastructure?

Greetings, I lived in a large city in Brazil, called Sao Paulo. It's one of the biggest cities in the world. And the infrastructure problem was just as bad as what you mention. Traffic jams were a pain. Often I would take 40-60 minutes to drive 8 km, just to let you know how bad it was. That was a regular day. The subway was also efficient, as it is in Romenia by what you say. However, way too crowded. If you want to get in on a regular day, you'll have to wait two to three trains in order to get inside. If you're going to use the subway on a Sunday evening, it will definitely be crowded. Not only that, but the whole infrastructure is bad as well. We've got a lot to improve. Right now I'm living in another city. Here, the infrastructure is extremely better. We have a subway station that is way efficient and empty. The streets are larger, lots of lanes for the cars to drive. Hope you enjoy your weekend!

sometimes it is that crowded that you can't get in the first train that comes. that is true.
