A 24 year old New Hampshire man is being called a hero for risking his life to rescue two children from a burning building on Friday almost two hours after midnight. David Isaacs from West Lebanon New Hampshire heard the cries of the mother that two of her children were inside the home where the fire started. Isaacs, 24, then risked his life to enter the burning building that was filled with smoke to rescue one toddler out of danger. An upstairs neighbor then took the toddler in her stroller and had his girlfriend take her to safety. Then Devin with a neighbor who opened the door for him was able to get an infant out of the burning building before the West Lebanon Fire Department arrived to put out the fire inside the apartment. West Lebanon Fire Chief Chris Christopoulos has advised people not to enter burning buildings to attempt rescues since it is not the worth the risk to add more casualties in an disaster. Isaacs insists if he had to do it all again, he would make another rescue attempt to save lives. Even though the Twin Pines Housing was damaged beyond repair, the Red Cross is assisting all of the tenants who lost their homes to find temporary housing.

David Isaacs insisted that he acted on instinct to enter the burning building to execute the rescue. I agree with you/ He is a hero.
