How much does it cost to run your dishwasher once a day? Is it really cheaper to do them by hand? I wonder if it is making my electric bill higher. I pay $120 a month or more. Any ideas?

Electric dishwasher consumes little electricity. But, I would prefer them to do manually as it will save even that electricity consumption.

This It depends on the dishwasher. It also depends on how you wash your dishes by hand. Having the hot water running non stop while hand washing dishes can easily use more energy and water than the dishwasher!
