Big fight tonight in the United Kingdom, Anthony Joshua v Joe Parker of New Zealand for a Heavyweight Unification fight with two world titles on the line. It will kick off in Wales around 11pm GMT and we can’t wait. Boxing is exploding here with 22 world champions from the U.K & Ireland in the last five years alone. AJ is an 18 stone Adonis and a really nice guy who has turned his life around from street thug to Olympic Champion, and now the most marketable fighter on the planet since Mayweather and Tyson. But he is not as nasty and flash as those two and that may well be his weakness. It’s the first heavyweight reunification fight in the United Kingdom and the bars will be packed tonight, yours truly just heading out to watch it. AJ is certainly the first fighter to engage so many children here and the guy a genuine star. Most people think he will win but he was poor in his last defence and when he won his title from Vladimir Klitschiko he was down twice. AJ carries no fat and a lot of muscle and if his power doesn’t see of this guy early on this could go the 12 with AJ tiring and Parker stealing it on points. I just feel that AJs been marketed too hard and he is not as good as that marketing, his good looks and manner hiding his flaws. Whoever wins will face Dylan White or the knockout king in Detonay Wilder of the USA.
