A cat was stuck between glass doors at the Premier Inn which is located in Luton, Bedfordshire, England had the good fortune of having RSPCA Officer Kate Wright come to his rescue on Wednesday.
Phoebe Byarsambo who is the assistant operations manager at the hotel saw the cat stuck between the elevator doors when she went to work on Wednesday morning after she the cat outside the elevator doors earlier.
Kate who is an officer with the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) which is the British equal to our SPCA came to the hotel to get the cat out of his predicament.
After the cat was released, Kate took the cat to a veterinarian to check on his condition. The medical staff named the cat "Lenny".
Since "Lenny" does not have a tracking device, the medical staff are putting up poster around the area to see if someone lost Lenny to see if anyone wants to adopt him.
