Fear of Heights, is there a cure for it?, What do you do to deal with it?

The past weeks my friends are inviting me to go to a place where i need to climb more than 500 steps. Whooaahh, just thinking of it i almost felt dizzy. But i am not like this when i was younger.How i wish i can reach those high peaks and enjoy the view. Are there medicine for this kind of sickness just like the motion sickness. I'm wondering if there is so i might be able to try it and enjoy too.

As far as I know there's no med for fear of heights. I also have this fear, but it doesn't stop me doing whatever I want. I know that I will feel dizzy first, but it will ease later. I don't stand on the edge of anything and I try to hang on something. And I try to be very rational and say myself that nothing bad can happen.

@anikoonline good for you. When i go to high places, i can feel the weakness on my feet. I already accepted that its not easy to conquer this fear.

@chavezrmc Yes, I think that my fear is not so serious as many people's. I can handle it, which is really good.

I am afraid sometimes too when I look at the ground below. But I would rather be high above than be below the water. Hehe

@chavezrmc Yes, thats right but if I were too choose, I would choose above. I get a phobia in the water especially when I see those corals.

@marlina I understand, but if i have some chance to go to high place like a building rooftop i tried to go but i never come near the edge. I'm trying to beat my fear but seems not working at all.
