Why Sometimes Cucumber Tastes like poison?

I think the end of the cucumber is quite bitter but I always give those bits to my guinea pigs

I like cucumber especially when I'm eating fish then I'm gonna dip the cucumber into vinegar. Cucumber is healthy.
