Yesterday, I had the time to watch the classic film Omen which starred Gregory Peck and Lee Remick. I continued watching the second part entitled Damien Omen II. And this afternoon, I competed the 3 parts, finishing Omen III: The Final Conflict. I tried to take a snapshot of a scene in Omen and this was what was taken through my mobile phone. There is a new version of Omen and it starred Julia Stiles and Liev Schreiber, and Mia Farrow as the evil nanny of Damien. I still prefer the original film, and I also like the soundtrack. I believe the theme song won an Oscar. Do you like the original movie rather than the latest version of a film you have watched? An example is Jumanji; the original had the late Robin Williams, and the new version has Dwayne Johnson.

I prefer to watch the original one. There are some scenes being omitted in new versions.

oh, you changed your profile picture again, kabsat. yes that is true. i feel more scared with the original movie. it is good the original is digitally restored so there were no irritating horizontal lines running in any scene.

Yes, definitely the Original one and The first part was the best without much of violence on the screen but lot of mental fear! Thanks @ridingbet!

@AKRao24 no, it is in the last part where his parents were buried. he was adopted by the brother of her father, the president of USA, right. Damien looked behind, and smiled mysteriously at the jackal. it was an eerie scene. the nun in the first part? i think the nun held the infant Damien and the nun gave the baby to Gregory Peck.

Really depends on the movie but usually, I prefer the original over the remake.

There's a TV series that I've been watching called Damien which takes place between Omen II and Omen III. Apparently it was canceled after one season, which is disappointing.

@ridingbet I haven't made up my mind about it yet, but it does seem out of place with the rest of the movies.

if you have the chance to watch the original, for sure you will agree with everybody that the original is always the best.
