Hines Ward: Will Miss Next Game Ward will miss Sunday's game after undergoing surgery to remove a bone in his left knee, KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh reports. Recommendation: Ward underwent an MRI on his ailing knee Sunday night and had surgery Monday morning. Surpisingly, he expects to be back before the end of the season. Coach Bill Cowher will further update his status during his weekly press conference Tuesday afternoon
