The Big 50

Tomorrow my husband will be 50 years old. We started dating when he was 15 and I was 14. It has been a long time that we have been together and I am so thankful that I was able to celebrate 50 with him. We will celebrate 30 years of marriage in December.
My kids got together and through him a surprise birthday party this past Saturday. It was a few days early, but it is when everyone could be off and attend.
He was pleasantly surprised. Most everyone recorded a video telling him how much he had meant to them and shared a memory with him. Then we played the videos while we ate. It was a sweet and fun time.

What a long time you have been together. Congratulations to your husband on his birthday, it sounds as if he had a great time at his party. I can remember when I thought 50 was old but now I would love to be back there again!
