I will give to the officials of the Washington Nationals for honoring Deputy First Class resource officer Blaine Gaskill when he took on the shooter at the Great Mills High School who shot student Jaelynn Willey who later died from her wounds in a hospital after she was taken off life support. The other student that the Great Mills shooter shot is expected to survive. However Gaskill who was a former SWAT team member did shoot in an attempt to disarm the shooter who shot himself in the head and passed away at the scener before he could cause further harm.. It is nice to see any major sports in America and around the world bestow their thanks to law enforcement officer who save lives during emergency events by asking them to throw out the first pitch at the Nationals home opener at Nationals Park in Washington D C on Thursday.

The media cannot lampoon him as a wimpy police officer like in Broward County.

That was great. Everyone wants to point out the failings of officers, which they should of legit! However, I want to hear the praise for the ones who face danger head on.

Officer Gaskill did his duty to stop a crime spree since the shooter took his own life.

The good people should be rewarded so that more come out.

I agree with you marguicha. Most police officers try to obey the laws.
