So, when I write on myLot my discussions are sometimes too long.

I know they are. I tried to do a short article on Hub Pages yesterday and got published only not FEATURED! But that is only because I realize that there, at the HUB, they use templates and want the writer to use the templates as much as possible to enhance the posts and provide a bit more detail. Yes, the devil in the details means more work for me. I will go there later and try to add on some more details to take that article up a few notches. I hate not being featured, and what's worse is that the featured articles I had listed as FEATURED, need to be updated and given more details so as to generate more views. It's like that sometimes. I guess I get lazy here but I like this site more than other sites. I can write a short discussion and then get meaningful feedback. There I don't get any comments from anyone, because I'm not full time. The fact is, I had not written one single article on the HUB PAGES site of over a year and a half or longer. , because I am having too much fun here at myLot, where I don't have to worry about meeting the quality standards of making a mountain out of a mole hill, so to speak. Get what I'm saying?

On myLot, I write enough so people know what I am talking about. I often omit a few details so I can use them in the answers to the posts. I notice that the meter goes faster when I tell little stories about things. I don't think I would like writing on HubPages. When I used to do searches, I would occasionally get a notice that I just violated HubPages terms of service. I never wrote for Hub, so how am I doing that by searching?

Short but meaningful posts are things that I prefer to read. I don't mind reading longer posts occasionally.

I signed up for Hub Pages a long time ago, but never wrote an article because I couldn't figure out the site. I tried to read the TOU and the FAQ's but not once in my search did I find out how a person earns on the site. I didn't even know they have templates for how to write. I know that should I ever figure out the site, I would have no problem with writing long articles. It seems what I do best. I believe in detail. It makes the article or anything you write come alive.

I dont mind long posts when they are well written. They can give more detail and meaning to the subject
