It is worth a look at. A man who is selling an electric hammer to boost sales in his home town hardware store. I used to work in a hardware store and I would have been proud to have the honor of featuring this very funny stunt. Mostly people need time to get goofy because now days, most news reports are just plain dead serious. Look at this video and have a good laugh!

Don't you get it? It was a silly joke. What isn't useful? You can make an electric hammer actually. The jack hammer is one example. The construction workers use an electric jack hammer to bust up concrete. So the idea is not original actually but the video is funny and makes people laugh. That makes it useful as a way to bring more customers to his business through humor. Sonic commercials are one example of how stupid comedy skits catch a person's attention and another example is the Gecko on that insurance commercial. Humor is a way to catch people's attention by tickling them on their funny bone if they have one.

Pretty funny, only problem is corporate America will take that approach and run even if was supposed to be joke and just gather attention and then we all get screwed. Am I to cynical?

That was his intentions, because of the fact that small town hardware is getting put out of business by the big Box stores like Wallsmart. I never bought a wall from them neither.

That is a good one. It made me laugh to think about a woman who is in the hardware store looking for a birthday present for her hubby and coming home with this lol
