what do you do when either internet is slow or down?

I want to think that I am not alone in this. Otherwise, I would feel really mad at being singled out thus unfairly. :P Even though I am supposedly on broadband and hooked up at a *reasonable* speed of 10Mbps, the actual speed when I perform a speed test is much lower. And from time to time, it would practically slow to a crawl so much so that using dialup might be faster. *roll eyes* When things get too slow, it becomes impossible to do anything that requires internet access. For instance, I will not be able to post on myLot since it takes practically forever to load a page. And since I have been spending most of my online time on myLot these days, you can imagine how frustrated I am. So my friends, what do you do when either internet is slow or down? Will you do something like what I did? Or go grab a bite? Read a book? Take a shower? Or switch off your computer altogether? Or... ? Do share your thoughts. ;-)
