It seems that for a short space in time, you couldn't escape hearing this band.
When you have a #1 album that spawns 2 - #1 Top Ten singles (and one that reaches #8), that is gonna happen whether you want it to or not. 
I'll let you decide which camp I was in.
(Hint - I didn't buy this, it was given to me)
I guess I take solace in that they didn't have any other albums that performed this well.

Their "hits" totally got overplayed back then (and still today in stores where they have easy listening on). But I actually do like a a few songs off this album like:
