Chief and Lt. I named my 2 puppies that way since my hubby is a firefighter.

We have had several dogs over the years. We have lost some and had to get rid of some due to unacceptable behavior. There names were Kenya (Siberian Husky), Duke (Chocolate Lab), Diablo (Red Pitt), Abby (Australian Shepard), Tank (Rottwieler), Manly (White Pitt Bull), Klondike (Husky), and Azia (German Shepard). It does really depend on the type of dog. But any name you choose I'm sure it will be great! :)

It depends on the kind of dog you have. If its a poodle you wouldnt wanna call it "killer". I heard you should name your dog a name ending with ly or ley. I dont remember why. But my my mother had a Miniature Pinscher we named him harley. Have you yet picked out a name for your dog? What kind of dog do you have? The name you choose shows how you view your dog and your relationship with it. Some names can cause people to judge a dog and react positively or negatively/fearfully when meeting it.
