On Thursday morning in Rice Lake Wisconsin a female dog who appears to be a Black Labrador Retriever escaped from her foster family so she could just take a walk around the neighborhood when she fell into a swamp that was icy and muddy.
Thanks to a brave Rice Lake Police Officer who went to the swamp to try to retrieve the lost dog, he was able to find Lucy who fell through the icy water and she was stuck in the mud.
The police officer was able to free Lucy from her trap and return her to her foster family safe and sound.

I am starting to wonder if dogs just like water or love being rescued by humans.

That is true since the brave officer risked his life to save a dog that was stuck in a swamp. That is awesome beyond words.
