Good evening from this side of the world, my friends. We have just arrived home from the hospital. My students and the junior nursing students rode in the school bus.
Yesterday evening at around 10:25, the young fresh graduate clinical instructor of the radiologic technology students talked to us about her and her students joining my students to ride on the school bus. My students were unsure to affirm what the CI said.
"Ma'am, will there be a bus? We would like to ride with you" was the question. I did not respond though one student of mine said " I am not sure if there will be a bus".
My thoughts were right. My students do not want the rad-tech students to ride on the bus. This was also confirmed by the beadle.
The reason? The rad-tech students do not pay transportation fee to the school; our students do. I think the rad-tech are freeloaders. Twice they rode on the bus and I still did not know there was animosity between the students of college of nursing and the radiologic technicians.. the rad-tech occupied the front seats while my students stayed at the back.
Such actions of these students are confirmed by my other colleagues. The CI knew from her students that they don't pay transportation fee and yet she and her students are boastful.
Freeloaders taking advantage and that is one thing I dislike.
(I learned from one of my students that our dean of the college of nursing is not in good terms with the dean of the college of radiologic technology. )

Like you, Ingrid, I despised freeloaders because they are the first people who would always take advantage and find ways to get anything for free, plus the fact that they are boastful. I hope a little consideration, gratitude and humility would somehow be given to those who paid.

true. they should be humble enough to show our students that it is their own doing why they are deprived of riding on the bus.

Would you have kicked them out of the bus if you had the chance?

Wow that's new! How could none of them told straight they're not getting a free ride on the bus? I know I would have just walk distance away from them lol. That's just not right.

the clinical instructor wants be to familiarized with me but i do not feel her sincerity. and i agree with what the beadle said,"Ma'am, they are not allowed because they do not pay the fee".
