Even though I no longer have an account with Facebook due to their policies of calling my satire comments "spam", they do serve a good purpose of reuniting dogs and their owners through their Humane Society page. Two years ago a man had his pet dog named Maxy stolen from his truck in Texas. The man who lost his pet had Maxy microchipped by his owner which was a key to have the dog who was left at the Humane Society of Tampa Bay as a stray dog. When the officials of the Tampa Bay Humane Society were able to find the owner of Maxy, they contacted him to inform him the good news. The man who owns Maxy was sad that his wife had passed away recently. When he received the good news, he traveled from Texas to Tampa Bay Florida to reunite with his dog Maxy. Now that is a very happy ending to a story of never giving up hope to reunite with your lost pet.

@Deepizzaguy That is a long time to have hope and having the chip out in was a good idea. The sad thing is that his wife was gone so she could not see Maxy again. I am so happy that he was reunited with Maxy.

@Deepizzaguy this happened to our dog before. He was captured by the city pound and he escaped. My Dad found him a few weeks after on the side of the road...He was on his way home to us.
