She thinks she is in love!

I have a friend who is in love or at least she thinks she has connected sentimentally with a person. We had a conversation and it goes like this;
"You know I´m in love; I can´t stop thinking about him!" she said.
"Really!" I uttered with amazement!
"Yes, I love him but I had an argument with him that made me do something stupid" she declared.
"What did you do?" I asked.
"I threw the engagement ring he offered me right into his face" she declared restfully.
"And how did he react?" I inquired.
"He just turned around and left" she explained.
"How do you think he felt?" she wanted to know my opinion.
" I think he felt humiliated and he will not talk to you for a while" I declared.
"I don´t really care!" she said without flinching.
Based on this short conversation, do you think she is in love and will suffer the consequences of her action?

I don't know her well enough to judge whether she's in love or not. There are those people who hide their true feelings because of pride.

There are some. She is one of those persons who is in the search for love where her intuition tells her. It´s going to take time and effort to succeed

I think she is in love. But hopefully she will never suffer the consequences of her action.
Maybe the guy was embarrassed or felt humiliated but if he really loves the girl, he will pursue his love on her.

@Jessabuma It´s a matter of time, but I think they will not compaginate any more, she is business oriented and that guy is not. That was the main reason of their break up

She just simply likes the idea of falling in love. She is not in love at all. The guy should find someone better.
