If you owned a living complex for people 55 years of age and older...

What would you do to improve it and make it the most sought after place to live in the area? It would not be assisted living. It would just be for seniors because if you really want to rent a place out, you have to focus on a group. You cannot please everyone all the time. A senior place does not need what a family-oriented development or an area for singles needs. I am not talking about one of those places where you have to give every last dime you have. You pay your rent and electricity and that is it. What would you do to make it awesome?

Well, I provide an entertainment area then the rooms will have a personalized closet with drawers. There is a beautiful garden outside. Transportation for the elderly. I would even want to have a swimming pool or a jacuzzi and a karaoke.

I´d have small gardens with places to sit and with no stairs. I would have a family room with lots of light. I cannot do anything anymore with little light. If I could, I would have a heated pool.

Excellent ideas! No stairs is so necessary! Most senior citizens don't want to climb stairs.

I would add a tennis/badminton court, a gazebo, gardens with lots of plants, shrubs and flowers. I would add a games/activity center with a pool table, card tables, arts and crafts and a weekly bingo night.

That would be a really nice addition to have. I have a friend who always wants to play bingo. The problem is that the owners want to spend as little as possible.
