Superman in Love

Superman is in love
With Lois Lane.
He proposes to her
In the rain.
Lois says yes.
Superman takes out a ring.
It has Kryptonian writing,
Lots of sparkles, no bling.
Superman kisses Lois.
He holds her tight.
Lois is breathless.
"Please darling, be light."
Superman apologizes.
He lets his strength ebb away,
And flies off with Lois
To a hideaway in Palm Bay.
The wedding is planned
On August the third.
Clark Kent will not be attending.
Why this is unheard.
But Superman and Clark Kent
Are one and the same.
So Clark Kent will be elsewhere
Reporting on a runaway train.

What a story that was-most remember the days of watching Superman!
