Who Here Has An Interest In Astronomy?

Ever since I was a little kid, I've had an interest in astronomy. My favorite planet back then was Pluto (now considered a dwarf planet) because we knew very little about it, and it was so far away. Nowadays they're discovering new solar systems every week. However, I wouldn't want to make a living by being an astronomer because I think money should be spent on other things, such as feeding the hungry, for example. How about you?
