Although this afternoon was in the 40s, it was so lovely to see the sun shine after it was a grey and partly cloudy morning. And next week, it'll warm up to the high 50s and low 60s with some clouds, rain and sunshine. I look forward on putting away my boots, winter coat and gloves this weekend. Today at the pool with my next swim lesson with Paige, I warmed up in the lap pool with one lap of the back stroke and one lap of the elementary back stroke. Then she wanted me to work on swimming full lengths. I did 2 laps of the freestyle and front crawl with the cones. Then I did 4 laps without the cones--first just kicking across the pool for the first two laps. Then I did a combo of the freestyle and kicks for the next two laps. Lastly I did swim two full laps without cones with the breast stroke to wrap up this session. She didn't say anything about what we're doing next week. But come Friday morning and Monday, I hope to practice the back strokes and the freestyle, if the leisure pool has a free lane.

Yes I am. Small baby steps---or shall I say laps--one lesson at a time.

You are getting more endurance doing more laps.

A little bit. But I tend to average 6-8 per half-hour lesson.

Go for it. See if there's lessons at a gym or YMCA in your country.
