Nigeria youths are Lazy, is this true?

April 21, 2018 8:27am CST
Nigeria president Muhammadu Buhari over his recent remarks in London that a lot of young persons in the country are lazy, he referred to them as some people who prefer to sit without working; meaning that the youths are lazy. Are you a Nigeria? or associated with a Nigerian? or even have/had something to do with a Nigeria youth? What is your view on this?

My Mother worked in business with the people of Nigeria and other Africian countries. I think she would have said that it is an individual issue. Not all are the same. If that is changing, it may be because the youth of many countries, not just Nigeria, are looking at the westernization of their people once they come to the USA or Europe.

We are free to choose and that's their freedom of choice... and I try not to judge anyone or anybody because I too have a time of being lazy...just my own little opinion...

I cannot comment for I am not a Nigerian or at Nigeria. But havIng to say that not 100% of a country youth will be lazy nor you will find 100% of them hardworking

You are right, but what I think the president was saying was that majority of the country's youth are lazy. That was his own opinion thou. To me, we have a lot of hard working Nigerian youths out there.

Honestly, this was just blown out of proportion. With the way it made wave in social media, most of us raised an eyebrow. Like "let it go if you have something better to do." Again, not a supporter of anyone, but this was taken out of context and blown out of proportion.
