Earth is an annual event celebrated every year on 22nd April.
It was first celebrated in 1970 in US, Earth Day is celebrated all over in more than 193 countries!.
The event is celebrated to demonstrate the support for the environmental protection!.
The need of humans are endless and with each day passing we are just deteriorating it.
Hope, from today the people would realise the importance of the Earth. And do a great towards it.

I think it is a shame that only once a year some people think that is the only day to be looking out for the earth. This should be something that we all do everyday. Out town will hold a clean up event and then it seems to be forgotten til the following year. When we go hiking and fishing we always take bags to pick up garbage left behind by others. If all did this it would be much cleaner and healthier.

I think every day should be earth day. We spend everyday on this beautiful planet and every day we take it for granted. Even if we go out into nature once a day and hug a tree and gave it thanks for the oxygen it provides us, we would be serving our mother earth in a respectful and glorious way.
