I remember growing up in the 70's and watching maybe 5 channels on tv. Now we have access to over 200 channels most of which are digital. I remember going to a local pizza place once a month and since the early 80's they have had delivery service and now you can use a smartphone to order it. I remember waiting for a phone call when I was younger and if someone was on the phone the person calling you got a busy signal. Then a few years later call waiting was invented. Since I am still remembering things from growing up, I will continue this in my next post.

I like the time when there was only three television stations in Panama. Two of them were Spanish speaking and one of them was for the U S soldiers to be entertained by shows in the U S from the classic television era.

Three channels does not sound like a lot but I can relate because I probably only watched all of 3 channels when I was a kid.

@Metsrock69 Now that are many channels, it makes me wish just to have a few channels on television.

@Deepizzaguy In some areas you can get a digital antenna and get a handful of channels for free.

I was born in 1978 and I grew up in the 80s and you know in our small town we only have three channels on tv and no telephone. The fastest way to communicate was a telegram. I remember those.

I lived in a big city and found myself listening to local radio once in a while.
