It is now 9:40pm here in this side of the world and I am going to bed in 30 minutes. My sister went ahead while my son is still doing his online content writing so probably he will stay longer down here in the living room.
Before my sister went to her room, she reminded me of my share with the bar of (flat) dark chocolates. She and my son already ate their shares and since I cannot finish the 10 small squares in one sitting, I just took 4 squares and kept the remaining 6 in the fridge.
Since I have a sturdy stomach I think the chocolates and the roasted corn grains dipped in vinegar won't rumble and give me abdominal pain.
Do you mix contrasting foods and not get abdominal pains?Do you have an excellent threshold of pain?

I had two very excruciating attach of a stomachache overnight, when I ate a pack of roasted peanuts and a bottle of Sprite. Now, I don't eat those two together anymore, when before I always eat them together.
I think my stomach has oldened too already.
Hey, is that a local brand of Chocolate?

@ridingbet You did that - peanuts in coke.
So, that is a Germany made chocolate. Is it as delicious as Lindt and Cadbury?

@ridingbet I am not a fan of Toblerone though. Cadbury and Lindt.

@SIMPLYD yes my lady. i had my shares of that kind, white chocolates, and with hazelnuts as well. the squares are bite-size only, unlike one triangle piece of a big Toblerone that i often gag when i put a whole triangle in my mouth.

my tummy is able to take in sour and sweet foods at the same time. only when i eat too much of either of the 2, will i visit the rest room. but surprisingly, i have a normal consistency of my motions this morning so i was not affected with the mixture of the sour and sweet foods.

Good night, Ingrid. Yes, I do when I eat sweets and sour like chocolate and green mango. Good luck to me after a few hours.

good Wednesday afternoon, hija. really, you also eat contrasting foods? i do hope your tummy will be stronger enough to withstand the pressures of borborygmus once they rumble.

@mlgen1037 hahaha.
right on that, hija, but i do hope you won't have those rumbling if you take only small to moderate amounts of the food like the chocolates.

@ridingbet Hello, Ingrid. Yes, I do. I get hungry often and I eat whatever is available. hehehe
Dont worry, when I feel that, the bathroom is just a few steps away from the bedroom. I run faster than Flash.

usually a visit to the bathroom is the worse outcome of eating contrasting foods. but glad to know you have not yet experienced it.

I don't have pains because of mixing foods. But there are many foods that I can't eat because they cause me pain like I can't eat chocolate, my stomach doesn't tolerate it.

@ridingbet I guess it it some kind of intoleration with chocolate. I can eat a few pieces without any problem. But if it happens too often (like more times in 2-3 weeks) or if I eat more chocolate at one occasion, I will feel very bad. It took me a lot of time to figure out that one reason of my stomach problems is chocolate.
But it is different with other food. Like when I eat bread I have stomach spasm during eating it. Or I can't eat pepper because I get awful bloating.
Well, I even take medicine for my stomach everyday, otherwise I would have constant pain and nausea.

My son asked my sister if he can open Toblerone as dessert (he had his dinner with his 2 lady friends). I and my sister had our dinner here at home. My sister...
