If your internet searches were made public...

What would the world see? There was this saying a friend of mine used when referring to the public revelation of a private shame. She would describe it as "airing dirty laundry in public". For some of us, conscience of our footprint on the internet, an internet reveal might be very academic and boring. For others, it could be pretty embarrassing and shocking. How would you feel if your internet searches were made public?

@marguicha i think it's good to have ready information, but as @anamika161088 it's what you put in... and it's what you do on the net that could be risky.

My searches might look kind of strange, since I do a lot of research on a wide variety of things. I don't think I would be embarrassed, though

@anamika161088 you never know, right? I'm not big on conspiracy theories, but I do believe in caution.

I would be somewhat proud (about half the content), and somewhat humiliated (about a quarter of the content) and for the quarter of it - I simply wouldn't care if people knew I were researching recipes or whatnot. lol

@AlisaTR It's healthy to laugh at one's self :-)

I would probably start off being embarrassed by some of my searches, but I know I would have a good laugh at it when I get over the initial discomfort. But then again I laugh at myself a lot.

Nothing for me to be ashamed of. My searches are mostly about the best foods to eat for a healthy life - and different medical conditions.

@AlisaTR Only on myself. But seriously I like to inform myself about matters concerning my health.

No words... But I don't search NSFW content... But feels awkward if searches will be public

It's really like airing your innermost thoughts actually, isn't it?

If you use the internet be ready with all possibilities. That's why it is. Very risky to use internet banking

@Mavic123456 That's very true, but how responsible are we really on the internet? I guess that should have been my heading...
