I love to nap... Am I just lazy?

Yawn. Stretch.
I’m a sleeper. I think that of all the furniture in our home, our bed is the most inviting... and not always for the reasons you'd think!
I especially love my bed in that siesta hour after lunch.
When I was a kid, I hated being sent to bed in the afternoon. I felt like there were so many fun things to see and do, and that I would be missing out on it all if I slept. Now that I’m older, I crave sleep. And as long as I’m home, I try to complete my chores early in the morning, so that I can curl up in my bed like a kitten after lunch.
Does that make me lazy?
What do you do? Do you like naps when you’re at home?

No it doesn't make you lazy. I don't take naps but I consider myself lazy. I stay in bed most of the time when I'm home but not to sleep. I hate taking naps because I consider that a waste of my time when I could do other things like mylot, watch my favorite series, or doing something else. Whenever I take naps, I would wake up really terrible as if I just wasted my time doing nothing.

@AlisaTR Napping isn't just for me. My brain works too much I can't even close my eyes when I know it's day time.

Naps can recharged us. Don't think that you are lazy when you feel like it. You are entitled to how you feel and do whatever it is that pleases you. The opinion of others are theirs, not yours to worry. Live your life be happy. Forget what others may say. They have their own lives to live, so don't make them live yours.

@AlisaTR Because you're not lazy, you love yourself. I remember our doctor before reminded us that we nedd to listen too from our body signals.

Alisa, as long as you get everything done and napping in the afternoon isn't disrupting your life in any way, then I don't think their's anything wrong with napping after lunch.

You're correct @MainerMikeBrown. My husband works really hard everyday. And since I'm not on the job these days, just the freelancing jobs I've gotten and my writing, I think it's only fair to help around the house. So I complete my chores- all of them- and then I nap.

Don't think much and just enjoy the leisure time you have... I used to nap when I had that much time in hand but alas! Can't do now

Nope. It is just natural that our body would like to rest and recharge.

Nothing to worry about. I do that too. After bringing my kids to school. I do my chores and after which I go back to bed. I just wake up time to pick up the kids again. I don"t feel lazy
