Only the Puppy is missing

Cage, Dog

I made post before about doubts of having a puppy. But I want my dog to have playmate and don't like him sleeping all day We decided to buy an animal cage, but mainly because mom didn't like me making an improvised one. But we didn't get the puppy that day because it was too young. Before when my sister in law got their new (deceased) male dog, it was two months old. She said It's not ready and have to wait another month to adopt it. However, my concern is that the maid is going to have a month off. She's the only person that take cares of the dogs and it's puppies. And their place is infested with ticks and fleas. I don't mind going over there, but I feared getting scorned by their dog mothers if i try to temporarily remove the pups from them.

Let the puppies have some time with the mother.

Hello @mlgen1037 Well, that's their choice and they are probably right, I will have to wait another month to adopt one.

@Letranknight2015 Yes, my friend. Time flies by fast. That one month will be fast and you will be able to adopt those babies.

By 8 weeks old I believe the puppies can be taken from their mothers. By 6 or 7 weeks they get introduced to puppy food. You do not want your dog living where they are infested with fleas it will just die if you don’t get rid of them.

I believe that puppies shouldn't be removed from their mothers until they are 8 weeks old. I hope someone will care for those dogs and puppies.

Hello @jaboUK I guess that's two weeks more, but maybe next month would be more assuring.

I guess you have to wait before getting the puppies. The mother,if she has recently given birth to the pups,is still a little bit aggressive.
