Brooklynn Decker, 5, and her older brother Nicholas Decker as well as their pet dog Baxter are being praised as heroes for assisting their mother Samantha Decker who was in a coma on Monday night due to her diabetic 1 condition when her insulin pump did not work.
Nicholas took a photo of his mother in a coma in her bed. He then sent the image to his grandmother who took action to call 911 immediately.
The ambulance arrived quickly to tend to the needs of Samantha who was rescued from dying in her bed due to her diabetic coma.
Brooklyn used her I pad to contact her father Staff Sergeant Brandon Decker who was in training with his unit the 44th Medical Brigade of the 18th Airborne Corps in Indiana.
Brandon admitted that he was shocked to see his wife in a coma. Baxter stood by Samantha's side during her health scare.
The parents of the Decker children are going to train them in what to do when a member of the family has a diabetic condition which requires medical help.
Baxter is going to be trained as a Diabetic Support Dog. The Decker children were praised by staying calm during the health scare of their mother.

They truly deserve the praise for their heroic deed! In such situations an average adult gets confused and becomes nervous. The kids did a great job.I am happy to know that they will be trained to handle such situation along with others pertaining to Diabetes. The Dog's role is not clear, but hopefully he must have contributed his own part by encouraging the kids! Lucky parents to have such lovely kids! God bless them! Thanks a lot for sharing such a positive news @Deepizzaguy !
