Difference between Forum posting and blogging

Blogging and forum posting are two different terms and I know that. But then I have heard that many people think that these are not the same terms. They think forum posting is actually micoblogging only. Is it true?

I am not really sure about that. But from my understanding, in forum posting, you just state your opinion and nothing much to say. As for blogging, you are more detailed and giving much information about a certain thing.

A blog can be composed of ONE or more people while forum cannot be called forum if you are alone. LOL
