Occasionally I see slanting oak trees here, but more often I see slanting pines that are warning they will soon fall. I'm curious. Is there a religious significance to that tree?

@sathviksouvik I've always wondered why people have worshipped trees. I've always been struck by their beauty, but they, like I, are created by God.

@bagarad Thanks Barbara, tree worship or nature worship was part of Indus valley civilization. They feared forest fires so worshipped fire, feared rain so worship rainGod, so worship of trees was related to all that. Presently the native tribes of Andaman had advanced.

Thanks Barbara, the local people worship these trees. But the slanting slopes are caused by geographical reasons.

@sathviksouvik That makes sense. Some trees become permanently bent due to winds.

@JohnRoberts Thanks John, in Havelock, the cause is sunlight.

Thanks John, there are many trees together. So the coconut trees which are younger dont get adequate sunlight. So they slant to make their way and move towards sunlight.
