Time rolls on and things get stranger for me, however, I do like the biggest song of 1995 “Gangsta’s Paradise” by Coolio. There is something about the music and the powerful vocals. The song was on the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart for three weeks.
The Song of the Year was “Streets of Philadelphia” by Bruce Springsteen. It was written and performed by the artist for the movie Philadelphia in 1993. It was also a hit in Canada, France, Germany, Ireland and Norway. The song went on to win four Grammy Awards – Song of the Year, Best Rock Song, Best Rock Vocal Performance Solo and Best Song Written Specifically for a Motion Picture or TV. Personally after hearing it for the umpteenth time it got rather depressing for me.
The best song of this year was “Waterfalls” by TLC. It is not one of my favorites and I have not heard it very often.
What do you think of the songs and artists?

I didn't even know about him but I am determined to get through my musical journey of top songs of the years up to today @DianneN discovering a lot along the way since I am really into my oldies and well=known favorite songs.
