Have You Ever Seen A Mauve Butterfly?

Here's one of my newest crochet items. A butterfly doily. It's from a pattern I've had for years. It's originally written to use with a very small crochet hook and thin cotton thread, but quite honestly, i don't like working with the thin thread and little hook. I just changed to a thicker cotton yarn and bigger hook. The result is a pretty nice size doily that measures about 24 inches across the widest part. The color is Mauve which looks like a lavender to me I don't recall if I've ever seen a butterfly this color, but i figure anything goes for butterflies. What color butterflies have you seen? What's your favorite?
