I am sure you have heard of the saying "One hand washes the other while both hands wash the face." Case in point is a dog named Chrome who was adopted by Linda Smith in November 2017 from the Bastrop County Animal Shelter (BCAS). Four months later, Chrome managed to get the attention of Linda and her two young sons in March when Chrome managed to get the attention of his owner that was a house fire in progress. Linda managed to wake up and her two young sons who were altered by Chrome of the danger they were facing. All three persons and the dog managed to leave the house before it was completely burned down to the ground. Linda and her two sons are staying in a temporary home that is given by a local church. The Bastrop County Animal Shelter donated $1,000 dollars to the Smith family to assist them to get on their feet. Linda has stated that the best way to assist her to get back on her feet since to adopt a dog from an animal shelter. Dogs are indeed man's best friend. Never forget that.
