Kylie who is a female German Shepherd who was close of being put to sleep due to the fact that not all of her teeth grew after she born, was given a second chance by her owner Gene Ryan who is a Washington D C firefighter.
Thanks to the officials at FEMA, Kylie passed a medical test to work as a cadaver dog with the firefighters since she did not qualify to be a police dog.
Kylie is working as a cadaver dog whose assignment is searching for the remains of missing persons in the D C area and in the general area.
It is nice to learn just because who has a genetic defect cannot work as a police dog can assist the authorities in finding remains of missing persons. It was a great decision to allow Kylie to be working with her partner Gene Ryan for a period of just over six months.

@Deepizzaguy It would have been a shame to be put to sleep for lack of teeth. Imagine if that was done to human beings!
