Christians Don't 'Lead with This Fact' because ... Humans Want to Know 'What's In It for 'Me'?'

Brother Kenneth Copeland sends a letter to his Ministries' Partners each month, and along-with that letter he sends 'a glossy card with a summary of the letter's message' (something I call an "encyclickmark" http://worldwidewisewordweb.blogspot.com/2018/05/encyclickmark-copelandnetwork.html on account of it being 'a bookmark' with text inspired by that month's 'encyclical').
This one--from a few months back--makes 'the connection that atheists conveniently forget when they're arguing against "believer-hood"':
"Jesus declared it! ('And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them and I in them!' JOHN 17:26); I declare it! - 1 I believe Love is in me now! (JOHN 17:28) 2. I believe Love never fails! (1st CORINTHIANS 13:8) 3. I believe Love is God! (1st JOHN 4:8)
"Because I have received THE LOVE, and because I have believed THE LOVE, I can confidently declare 1st Corinthians 13:4-8: I PRACTICE AND WALK IN LOVE. I AM LOVE!"
Christians--when claiming they are Christians--don't usually lead with 'I am loved by the power of love itself, meaning that "the power of love" is my Father & I am Love'; but rather "I am 'SAVED' ... washed in The Blood of The Flying Zombie (or something)"
(Sure, they don't present 'that metaphor' up-front either; but it shows you why atheists--who for some reason don't understand that believers have learned how to 'suspend disbelief' at a moment's notice (the way you do when you enter a movie-theater)--argue against people who carry their 'suspension of disbelief' into daily life ...
(... believing--for instance--that Donald J. Trump is going to turn into a good President if we give him a few more years to improve
)
'Believing that God is "some person-in-the-clouds who imagines things into existence"' is like believing 'the U.S. government is just "some person-in-the-White-House who has ideas, writes them down & POOF! Laws are born"'
Why don't they claim to be 'Children of "Love" living off of our inheritance?' Because they would rather believe their tickets-to-'eternal bliss' are bought-&-paid-for; and--though 'love' may be the base-reason why 'someone is allowed to live somewhere FOR FREE' (for instance: your children in your house, or you in your parents' house)--'love' doesn't pay the bills!
(And don't mention "that stuff" that 'earns the money,' that people frequently confuse with 'love'
)
The connection I noticed--though--is "thy name ... that the love ... may be .. in them!" 'Thy name' is 'Love,' no? Why do we call Him "Jesus Christ" and not 'Jesus Love?'

We call him Jesus Christ because he allowed his crucifixion for the good of people.

so why don't we call him 'Debt-Settlement Scapegoat'?

@mythociate so which is best? to believe in God/Jesus and find out he doesn't exist or NOT believe and find out he does exist?

@bunnybon7 Santa Claus! Easter Bunny! Bigfoot! If you believe they exist or not, does it change the fact?

Believe what you want; it doesn't make anything real or make anything fake

"and if you'll buy that I'll throw the Golden Gate in free."
The truth is: you believe that because that's what you want to believe. (Oh, I know 'the fact that many-many-many of your ancestors have also believed and/or -that most of your friends-&-family believe' weighs in on it; but you ultimately decide you want to believe.)

@dlr297 and not even care the things that'll happen to you between (you won't even remember them ... not even if you go through millions-&-millions of years of rottings & reincarnations & rottings & evolutions & ascensions etc.)
But it might be good to know about 'all that stuff' now, so you're not expecting an instant beam-up
